Payment & Cancellation Policy
​To protect our time and ensure fairness for all clients, the following policies apply to every appointment with Solis Auto Detailing:
As of August 2025, Solis Auto Detailing will require cards on file on all appointments in order to be scheduled in the calendar.

Card on File Requirement
​
All appointments require a valid credit or debit card on file at the time of booking.
Your card is securely stored through Square’s encrypted system and will only be charged under the following conditions:
• If payment is refused or other payment methods fail.
• If the remaining balance is not paid within 24 hours of service completion.
• If a last-minute cancellation or no-show occurs (see below).
We do not accept checks.
Payment Methods & Fees

To offset processing costs, the following fees apply:
• Credit/Debit/Apple Pay/Google Pay: 5%
• Online invoice payments: 6.25%
• Afterpay: 8%
(Split your payment in 4 interest-free payments or choose monthly options for larger totals.)
A cash discount is available when paying in person.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
​
Due to a high number of last-minute cancellations and reschedules, we now require a minimum 48-hour notice for all changes.
• Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of your appointment — including same-day bookings — will incur a 20% fee based on the service’s starting rate.
(Example: $400 service = $80 fee.)
• If you cancel or reschedule last minute, your card on file will be automatically charged the 20% fee.
• After repeated last-minute cancellations or reschedules, full prepayment may be required to secure future appointments, or we may refuse future bookings.
• During peak season, same-week reschedules cannot be guaranteed.

If we ever need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will not be charged any fees. If you choose to cancel because of our reschedule, no fee will apply.

Payment Authorization

By booking, you authorize Solis Auto Detailing to charge your card on file for:
• The total service amount if no other payment is made at completion.
• Any applicable cancellation or rescheduling fees as outlined above.

Why We Enforce This
​
These policies ensure fairness and consistency for all customers. Last-minute changes and non-payments result in lost time and prevent other clients from booking available spots.
We rarely waive these policies, but always handle each situation with professionalism and understanding.
Detailing Policies & Payment Terms
​
Before your appointment, please remove all personal items from your vehicle and trunk. Solis Auto Detailing is not responsible for items left behind. If the trunk is full, we’ll do our best to work around it, but excessive clutter will not be removed. Trash will be bagged or vacuumed as part of your service. If you’d like your glove box or center console cleaned, please clear them out beforehand.

All quotes are starting points, as final pricing depends on your vehicle’s condition. Details may start around $200 and go up based on factors like interior buildup, pet hair, or staining. If additional time is required beyond the standard duration, extra time is billed at $75 per hour.

Payment is due upon completion of service. Accepted payment methods include cash (discount available), card payments (5% fee), online invoice payments (6.25% fee), and Afterpay 4-interest-free payments (8% fee).
By placing a card on file, you authorize Solis Auto Detailing to charge that card for the full balance of your scheduled service if no other payment method is provided at the time of service, or if the balance is not paid within 24 hours of the appointment’s completion.
